Consumer banking app launched. 105K+ monthly active users across iOS and Android.

Axos Bank needed to consolidate banking, lending, and investing into a single, modern digital platform. The challenge: build a system that scales across multiple brands (Axos, UFB Direct, Nationwide) while maintaining the usability and uptime that digital-first banking customers demand.

The existing systems were fragmented across brands and product lines. Mobile and web experiences needed to be unified, release cycles needed to accelerate without breaking production, and the platform had to absorb the complexity of five acquisitions, each bringing different customer bases and technical requirements.

Every feature had to work across brands without duplication. Every release had to ship without downtime. And the platform had to maintain 99.9% uptime while integrating entirely different technology stacks from each acquisition.

We designed and built the complete Axos Online Banking application: native iOS and Android apps using Xamarin/MAUI, a full-stack web platform in .NET and Angular, and integrations with Sitecore, Tableau, and Azure DevOps.

Two branded mobile apps were launched: Axos Mobile Bank (34K+ monthly active iOS users, 16K+ Android) and UFB Direct (71K+ monthly active iOS users, 21K+ Android). Together, the platform serves over 105,000 monthly active users across banking, borrowing, investing, and enrollment services.

The platform absorbed five acquisitions without a single customer-facing outage, maintaining 99.9% uptime throughout. Automated QA with Dynatrace monitoring and Browserstack testing ensures every release ships clean. The architecture supports multiple Axos brands from a single codebase.
