Medaxion's clinical software suite (Pulse and Pulse Mobile) was the backbone of anesthesia workflows in operating rooms across the country. But the platform needed to evolve: new features were required without disrupting active clinical workflows, usability needed improvement across web, mobile, and backend systems, and billing and coding tools had to be reinforced for accuracy at scale.

The challenge was compounded by the clinical environment itself: in the OR, software reliability isn't optional. Every screen, every data field, every workflow had to be precise, fast, and intuitive for anesthesiologists and clinical staff working under pressure.

Medaxion needed a partner who could move fast across multiple platforms simultaneously (web, iOS, and backend) without introducing risk into production clinical systems.

Working across Pulse (web) and Pulse Mobile (iOS), our engineers built 70+ new screens while modernizing the existing codebase.

The CIS billing module was rebuilt for compliance, with automated coding validation that reduced errors and audit exposure. APIs were enhanced for scalability, supporting real-time data flow between mobile devices in the OR and backend analytics systems.
